Recherche actuelle :

  • Caractérisation d'un réacteur à plasma à lit jaillissant

    • L'exploitation industrielle de technologie de plasma thermique implique un développement des réacteurs à plasma et une optimisation de procédés de traitement. Ce projet s'inscrit dans le cadre du développement de techniques de traitement de produits pulvérulents par plasma chimiquement actif en vue de l'application future dans des réactions non catalytiques gaz-solide comme la gazéification d'une matière organique et le traitement des minéraux et des déchets.
    L'objectif particulier de ce programme de recherche est d'approfondir nos connaissances fondamentales des phénomènes de transfert de masse et d'énergie sous conditions plasma. Une attention particulière est donnée aux caractéristiques thermiques et aérodynamiques, et à la recirculation du solide, l'attrition du solide et le temps du contact gaz-solide.
  • Synthèse de matériaux avancés pour la production des électrodes d'électrolyseur

    • Le rendement électrique d'un électrolyseur figure parmi les différents paramètres fortement liés aux caractéristiques catalytiques d'électrodes. Ce projet vise à déterminer les principales corrélations entre la structure et la composition d'électrodes et leur performance électrochimique pour un alliage de type Nickel Raney enrichi de molybdène. L'optimisation de procédé de production des électrodes est aussi envisagée comme un objectif à long terme.
